Where did the name BlueJay come from?

BlueJays are known to be beautiful, intelligent and highly protective birds. BlueJays are known protectors and defenders, but are not viewed as birds of prey. They occupy the space of strength without malice, and of course the blue tie to law enforcement helps connect the app with that space.
